1936-20 Aji DarmaDepicts the Tantri narrative Painted in Kamasan - Dated 1949
Possibly Aji or Angling Darma story. Painting shows a kidung/post-mythological style king and his queen. Queen is shown in sorrow, and then throwing herself on a funeral pyre. This is probably the Aji or Angling Darma story, showing how king Aji Darma refuses to divulge his secret of hearing what animals are saying to his wife. She kills herself in sorry at his refusal to tell her the secret.
