AM E094638 Kala Rau
"The story continues from the story of the Churning of the Ocean and is also depicted in E074173 (in this painting the moon is male), E074180 & E076385 "
Kala Rau swallowing the moon (lunar eclipse). Dewi Ratih appears in the nimbus with her weaving loom. Kala Rau chases her because she has told Wisnu that he is about to consume the elixir of immortality (amerta). Presumably the bats are intended to suggest night time.
